Purple time

This series offers a vibrant exploration of nature, which oscillates between dreams and reality. The compositions stage stylized trees, where each element is fragmented in geometric shapes, evoking modern stained glass or mosaics. Each table plays with the contrasts between natural elements and saturated backgrounds, often embellished with circular shapes or dynamic lines which guide the gaze through the different layers of paint.

The games of shadows and light, as well as the slightly unreal perspectives, accentuate the dreamlike character of these landscapes, which appear both familiar and imaginary.

The chromatic, rich and varied pallets oscillate between hot tones like pink and yellow, and cold shades of blue, green and purple, suggesting an intimate and poetic link with the environment, where trees, often represented in an almost anthropomorphic interaction, seem to dialogue or dance.
